Sprout Sessions emerged from the rehearsals for an improvised, ambient performance in Calgary in March 2022. I improvised each session from scratch with a modular synthesizer and and recorded it in one take with no overdubs. As a result, the album is best experienced as one, continuous, hour-long piece. I've added track markers to increase palatability for new listeners and algorithms.
